Always Searching

I just fired up my Marshall and played an epic set of Arch Enemy in honor of Jim’s passing. That man created one hell of an amp. As I played I actually found myself getting a bit emotional while listening to the tone roar. It’s just so fucking good.

Video Game Meme? I’m in! Here’s some stats:

- When I was a little tot I had a Pacman shirt and wore it constantly. 

- I was able to make it to the end of Dragon’s Lair.

- I’ve beaten the Boss on the first 3 Mortal Kombats. (MORTAL KOMBAT!!!)

- I was rated number 3 in the USA, and number 7 and 8 in the world for two different weapons in Battlefield 2142.

- I’m pretty monogamous with my games and don’t jump around (slut) from game to game. As of now I’m all about Battlefield 3. (2142 will always be baby though…)

- I find online gaming to be fascinating, but not just the gameplay. I really enjoy the social elements of it, and sometimes find myself studying the different personality types. The Cheats. The Rages. The Braggarts. The maddening displays of stupidity. The inventive and clever players.

- One of my closest friends I met through playing Battlefield 2142.

- I broke my ankle playing a videogame.

- I’ve been to A LOT of LAN parties.
